SJS - I appreciate and thank you for your baseballimony. I've tried to like the sport, but I always end up falling asleep. My local team is the Diamondbacks, but I can't say that I'm truly converted to them. Can I get another witness or two that baseball does not suck? Also, I'm going to need to shake your hand.

      Baseball is awesome.

I believe in the Church of Baseball. I know that it is a true game, and since there is no clock, no man knoweth the hour when the end of a West Coast road trip game cometh. I bear you my testimony that there is nothing more spiritual than the last out of a Braves four-game sweep of the Dodgers. Dale Murphy's will be done.

          Amen.

I go to Spring Training every year and let the kids run on the lawn, but you've all convinced me to go to the Dbacks in the next few weeks. I'll give you my report.

No. I played soccer and basketball (poorly) and was in the band.

                      Welcome.

Do you golf? Have you ever golfed? What kinds of clubs do you have? What's your favorite ball? Favorite course? These things are important too.

I've never golfed. I've wanted to for awhile now, but I just haven't gotten around to it. The baseball guys have spoken and I must do that first, but I can put golf on the list for later.

this might play a significant part in why you don't like the sport, you've never had a relationship with it. I suggest you try playing it, or at least softball. It might give you a better appreciation for it.
