Given the increasing number of boomers on this site (creekster, PAC, 71, happyone, et al), maybe we should start a "Geriatrics" category where you guys can discuss vitamins, canes, good deals on all-you-can-eat buffets, liver spot removal, etc.

In fact, you guys should plan a meet-and-greet at BYU's home opener vs. Florida State. You can all meet up at the mall at 6AM and do laps inside while you get to know each other.

How about a serious athletic contest. We will put a 4 man golf team together of board members over 50 and you can put one together of under 50 board members. $400 entry fee per team and winner take all.

When I was a kid a gay person was someone who was happy and fun to be around. Maybe that is where the term came from.

Can you say a bit more about your experience going back to college for a second bachelor's degree? I have been contemplating it for a bit myself, and would like to hear what you thought about it. Specifically:

1. Nuts and bolts -- is applying to college for a second time through different? I assume all of your old GE credits still apply, so you can focus on degree related courses only. Is that the way it works?

2. Culture -- in grad school we had a few students who were MUCH older than most of us. What was that like?
