To paraphrase some British hip hop, it looks like things have gotten a bit out of hand. You guys are very welcoming. I'll try and respond to most if not all of the questions.

I lurked for about 45 minutes before signing up. The cycling threads were just too enticing. Favorite posters? Was this question approved by my wife? Just seems too loaded for me to answer without collateral damage. I'll just say NorthwestUteFan since he's my sponsor. 2. I may have to get back to you on this one after a few weeks.

    On occasion.

My couch is very romantic and has a reputation for "non-sleeping."

Yes. Yes I do. Actually I have a friend running that program and they finally seem to be seeing some success. Until they can get an upper hand on the carp, it's going to be a project that requires heavy management, which is less than ideal. If you want to discuss further, I'd love to.

You seem like a good guy on the other boards. I think you'll like it here. We definitely need more Ute fans.
Agreed. The fact that Ray Romano is in an upcoming episode hurts my insides greatly. I'm not sure if I hope the Will Arnett thing pans out or not. The writers have just gotten lazy.

Babs, have you had a chance to check out my pigeon porridge recipe in the food forum?

It depends which Ernie that you're talking about. The thoughtful, supportive, hilarious Ernie or the drinks too much, insulting, callous Ernie.

So you are an ex-BYU fan with a degree from USU who now cheers for Utah and an active LDS Democrat? You should fit in here just right. Most of us are pretty screwed up too.
I really think Funshine Bear is my favorite. If I had to pick one. As for the second part, one of my most shameful moments in history was rushing the hardwood after USU beat Utah in Logan.

    EDIT: or quagga mussels.
I'm sit in meetings regarding quaggas but I'm not involved in any of the direct management issues of them. Simply put, there isn't anything to be done.

    I like parties.

When we moved into our new neighborhood, I told my wife, if I am unable to start riding my bike here, it isn't ever going to happen. It's starting to happen.

I do a little work on the Snake Valley fish stuff. This is such a complex issue. Is it the best idea? Absolutely not, but unfortunately, we don't live in ideal conditions with people working well together to make the smartest decisions possible. But our job is to supply the valley with reliable water and the Colorado does not afford us that by itself. I'm no hydrologist, but the data seems to show that the area could support some withdrawal. What I hold on to most though is that I've been very impressed with the environmental record and consideration of our organization. These won't be careless decisions.

Yes..they 'used' to have more up to date BYU info than CB (they really monitored all things BYU..it was funny). I have/am weaning myself from their board. No sense hangin out with the heart eating heathens anymore.

JL - I find myself strangely attracted to you.....

KL - is it too late to claim that I actually "was kidding" or is the cat out of the bag?

Babs - thanks....at least someone understands.

(well, I do read the sports threads...I just don't have the same kinda time to kill this place like some of you do!!! I'm thinking someone on this board needs to hire me for the big bucks so I can have the same kinda time to devote to 'all things cuf'!)

Hey! No fair knocking the Borg for parading around in spandex. He's a cyclist.
