What part of Vegas do you live in?

Summerlin. Essentially Charleston and the 2-15.

What do you do with a Fisheries and Wildlife degree?

My emphasis is fish biology and have specialized in endangered desert fishes. I currently work for the Southern Nevada Water Authority, which is why we moved here. Which probably doesn't answer your question well. Mostly I deal with the management and conservation of species. There's an endangered fish called the razorback sucker that lives in Lake Mead that I work closely with.

As far as camera equipment (Sorry, haven't figured out how to quote multiple people in the same post yet.) I'm a Canon man and have a 20D and a first series 1D. Both need serious upgrading.

Never been to Bishop but had a friend climb the big mountain over there last fall. I almost made it on that trip.

Hi. My name is Dwight Schr-ute. But I prefer Gareth Keenan.

I grew up in the shadow of Rice Stadium, went through rebellious delinquency where I cheered for BYU to spite my father, was a classic Utah commuter for several years trying to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up and eventually finished up at Utah State with a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife.

Got married and immediately moved my new bride to Las Vegas where we almost immediately started a little family. We've been here for almost 5 years and I doubt it will ever really feel like home. I crave mountains with trees taller than me.

Prior to kids, I was an avid cyclist, a music snob, a movie snob, and a food snob. Now I'm skinny fat, listen to songs sung by princesses, watch cartoons, and eat whatever takes 5 minutes to throw together.

I love camping, hiking, photography, and writing. Some how I found a career that pays me to do all of the aforementioned. So far in my career I have worked with 12 threatened or endangered species.
