          Tell me how many HOF outfielders hit less than 0.280 in 11 of their 18 seasons, including five seasons hitting lower than 0.230.

          Dale Murphy hasn't even gotten close to sniffing 75% of the votes, and rightfully so. He's closer to being the next Dave Kingman than he is a HOF outfielder.
