    Welcome
Me too. It is thrilling. Should we call it the "Adorama and CUF War?"

Hey. I think you are being unfair to Helen.

        Welcome
My sincere apologies; unfortunately I am being stalked by this person across numerous forums where I am a member.

          Helen,

No worries. We welcome you here, even off the clock, because you are perhaps our most interesting member. Also, BYU71 is a wealthy bachelor, if you're single. He knows it's kind of creepy, but he private messaged me and begged me to ask you if your face could launch a thousand ships.\

Ray, don't be a twirp. Just send the damned stuff back or take it back to Costco.

Welcome, Ray! For your introductory question, I ask you to consider the following:

When Caesar was captured by the Rhodesian pirates, they sent word back home of the capture along with a request for a ransom. Caesar bade them to raise the requested amount, insisting that the amount for which they requested as ransom was a figure too low for a man of his stature. Were YOU likewise in the hands of the Rhodesian pirates, how much would YOU insist that your ransom should be?

While Helen is a newbie, she came here in good faith and deserves a warm welcome.

Ray, if you would like to start over and make some new posts, you are welcome to do so. But if your sole purpose in creating an account is to harass Helen, then you are not welcome here.

It's a trick question. The pirates were Cilicians (although Caesar was captured near Pharmacusa, near Miletus in Ionia).

I think the answer should be in the form of limnahs and amnors.
