Caesar bade them to raise the requested amount, insisting that the amount for which they requested as ransom was a figure too low for a man of his stature. Were YOU likewise in the hands of the Rhodesian pirates, how much would YOU insist that your ransom should be?

It's a trick question. The pirates were Cilicians (although Caesar was captured near Pharmacusa, near Miletus in Ionia).
