  • Intro from Helen at Adorama Camera

This is me; only an email away and always happy to help!

As the Customer Service Ambassador for Adorama Camera, I'm contracted as an External Consultant to act as an independent advocate on behalf of Adorama customers.
My brief is to search for Internet postings which refer to Adorama, in order to give advice and information, as well as to investigate and resolve complaints and concerns that posters have been unable to address through regular customer service channels.

I alert the Senior Management Team to customer feedback concerning company policies - with recommendations for change, and provide a rapid response for customers seeking advice and / or support in relation to their purchases.

Any customer with an enquiry, query or complaint regarding an order - or any aspect of service from Adorama, is most welcome to contact me directly: helen.oster@adoramacamera.com

Welcome, Helen! For your introductory question, I ask you to consider the following:

In 49 BC, Julius Caesar, in the tenth year since his appointment as Imperator in Gaul, marched his army across the Rubicon and headed towards Rome. Pompey and his allies in the Optimates faction, unable to muster forces to meet Caesar in time, were forced to withdraw from Rome, leaving it to Caesar and the Populares. Under the circumstances, would you have left Rome with Pompey and the Optimates, or stayed with Caesar and the Populares? Why? In your response, please refer to primary sources and refrain, where possible, from letting the ultimate outcome affect the basis of your answer.

I am glad Helen and Ray brought their little pissing match to our community. I now have an idea of how the Iroquois' must have felt after the British and French showed up.

                              Welcome
