Good for you. A couple of days ago on a trip to SLC my daughter asked me to go through all of the Jimi Hendrix songs on my iPod and point out my favorites and what I liked about each one. We discussed the blues influence on his music and how he used to jam with B.B. King and Janis Joplin and how strongly his music influenced Stevie Ray Vaughan. For example, a couple of my YM in my ward were both all region LB's and graduated at the same time. I thought one of them was actually a little better player than the other. BYU made an offer to the other one (Ogletree, if you are wondering). The other one went to play at the AFA.
