Well, here goes nothing.
How did you find CUF?
My initial foray into sports message boards resulted in unhealthy anger, spite, and criticism on my part - probably more of an indictment of me than the sites. By pure serendipity I found CUF and have been pleasantly surprised.
What do you like about CUF?
I like the thread format and the non-sports fora.
What don't I like about CUF?
I feel like I just moved schools in the middle of the year, still figuring things out.
Also, the overabundance of attorneys. (My wife and 2 of my brothers are lawyers)
How did you choose your moniker?
It's a play on words based on my last name. It was started by some friends that I played rugby with in college.
The other option was my favorite line from South Park: FDINTHEA
What do you do (other than read CUF)?
Not much, according to my wife.
I am a physician, orthopaedic trauma. Predictably unpredictable hours.
I have four kids and spend as much time with them as possible - little league, swimming, soccer, skiing.
I enjoy skiing. I can't change ends of the court any more, so basketball has fallen off. I run when I can.
How many States have you lived in?
2-Utah, Pennsylvania
What are your sports loyalties?
I've been a Utah fan since I first became aware that my dad played basketball for the "U". My earliest sports memories are of attending games at the SEC with my uncle/aunt while they were students. I remember Karl Bankowski hitting the baseline jumper against Louisville and Buster Matheney skipping backwards down the court after a made basket.
Growing up in SLC, I didn't have any professional sports loyalties. Most of my favorite pro teams are related to places I've lived or people I know.
NFL-Eagles. Spent 5 years in Phillly as a resident. Andy Reid was in our ward.
MLB-Phillies and Red Sox, although that one probable has some degree of Yankee hate.
NHL-Habs. 2 years in Montreal as a missionary
NBA-I follow the Jazz but the Association has lost some excitement for me.
New Zealand All-Blacks. BIL from NZ and father served a mission there.
What's your standing in the church?
Active as much as work allows. Currently Cubmaster.
Do you pee in the sink?
Sink, shower, bushes, middle of the fairway - I'm an equal opportunity urinator.
When your kids get older, will you do drugs with them in order to teach them a responsible approach to drugs?
No. I'll just take them to visit their uncle's grave or come into work with me one evening.
Are you looking forward to Wuap's welcome question and what do you think it will be?
Sure, but it will probably be over my head. I do hope he is feeling better.
Why are you so creepy? How long have you been lurking?
A few months posting here and there.

A little later than anticipated, but I think you are going to be happy with the hell that you have endured.
