Just a few tweaks. Nothing serious.
      Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Oh wait... wrong president. My bad.
It looks like a prayer circle to me.

Yeah, that is exactly what I was thinking when I saw the picture! You would have thought the guy would have learned something after that hot mic thing he had with the Ruskies...

                • The Kremlin says there was no secret meeting between Putie and Drumpf...

Trump and Putin did not have a secret G20 meeting: Kremlin

The Kremlin said on Thursday that U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin did not have "a secret meeting" at the G20 summit earlier this month, but confirmed they did chat informally over dinner.

Drumpf is so sneaky the Kremlin didn't even know about the meeting. How did he do this? Easy... he put his wife to sit next to Putin during dinner! His wife knows like six different languages and served as the translator. You have to hand it to Drumpf. He is not stoopid like Obama (who leaves the mic on during his secret meetings).

                  • This line of inquiry reminds me of the cartoon, which may be in this thread, of the television watcher pulling out his hair as he hears the commentator state, "Stay tuned as we analyze the length of Trump's handshake with Putin for the next twelve hours."

Trump could order a Black Russian and it would make the top story on the major news outlets.

I know it's a significant story. I'm just not a fan of conjecture or open ended leading questions in reporting. Leave that stuff to the editorial writers and Maddows/Limbaughs of the world.

Trump already said the meeting happened. He likes to contradict his apologists and spokespeople that way after they come up with the explanation for the original denial. But good thing Putin is trying to help since we're told the only other alternative to cozying up to the dictator is war.

That is exactly what McCain, who has a brain cancer that might explain why he is so crazy, Graham, Shumer and Frank Ryan want. We must war on Russia. As a libertarian you should actually want to shun war, but perhaps not.

Or is the alternative to claim we are friends, ignore what Russia does and impose some economic sanctions a la Obama, that wonderfully insightful wannabe Kissinger foreign policy guru?

Trump is not doing a wonderful job but American Presidents have been screwing up Russia-US relations since Reagan-Bush I.

What am I missing about this "secret" meeting with Trump and Putin. According to this NYT article, this "secret" meeting took place at the dinner table with all the other folks present.

                                https://www.nytimes.com/2017/07/18/w...d-meeting.html

Please tell me the apoplectic response by the media is related to another meeting, because, if not, Trump's secret dinner table meeting is way overblown.
