  • This is old but Clinton's team lost a laptop with an archive of her emails...

Hillary Clinton’s Team Lost a Laptop Full of Her Emails in the Actual Mail

A laptop filled with Hillary Clinton’s emails is missing, the FBI just revealed. It makes the stink around Hillary’s private account even worse.

A laptop containing a copy, or “archive,” of the emails on Hillary Clinton’s private server was apparently lost—in the postal mail—according to an FBI report released Friday. Along with it, a thumb drive that also contained an archive of Clinton’s emails has been lost and is not in the FBI’s possession.
    [...]
The archive was created nearly a year before the State Department contacted former secretaries of state and asked them to turn over any emails that they had sent using private accounts that pertained to official business. A senior Clinton aide, Huma Abedin, told the FBI that the archive on the laptop and thumb drive were meant to be “a reference for the future production of a book,” according to the FBI report. Another aide, however, said that the archive was set up after the email account of a Clinton confidante and longtime adviser, Sidney Blumenthal, was compromised by a Romanian hacker.

Whatever the rationale, the transfer of Clinton’s emails onto two new storage devices, one of which was shipped twice, created new opportunities for messages to be lost or exposed to people who weren’t authorized to see them, according to the FBI report. (The Clinton campaign didn’t immediately respond to a request to comment for this story.)

Hmm... Maybe Weiner needed an (life) insurance policy and his laptop the FBI has now is really the lost one?

Also, there is this interesting read on how folks on Reddit pieced together the identity of an user by the name of "Stonetear" who happened to be Paul Combetta of Platte River Networks, who became Clinton's fall guy for using BleachBit on the server.

        I hope this helps.
The definition needs to be adjusted to college grad and up... an high school education and even some college just doesn't cut it these days:

I have multiple different FB friends/acquaintances shouting that a vote for 3rd party is a vote for Hillary and others shouting that a vote for 3rd party is a vote for Trump!

Do the right thing, they say, vote for hillary to keep trump away! Do the right thing, they say, vote for trump to keep hillary away!

Good heavens this is a joke.

            • To continue from my post yesterday....RCP now has on their "no toss ups" map NC and Nevada going to Trump if the election were today. That has the electoral votes at 273 Clinton and 265 Trump. Maine has an electoral vote that will likely flip to trump as well in the next day or two which will put it at 272 to 266. Un-freaking-believable.

In the 90's, she and Bill did nothing but deny, deny, deny, while condemning their accusers in the strongest (and often false) terms. Yet Bill ended up his presidency with very high approval ratings, and Hillary went on to be a U.S. Senator and then Secretary of State. I'm not a behavioral psychologist, but given the success they enjoyed with that approach, it's understandable (though hardly forgivable) that such lousy behavior persists.
As long as we are wishing. I wish Donald had decided he had a good life and didn't need to feed his ego more by running for President.

Then I wish John Kasich had won. Sadly I am not so sure even he would have beaten Hillary. Probably would have taken the high road like Romney and gotten crushed by the Clinton machine and the accomodating press.

I keep hearing about the people who are going to vote for Trump, but won't admit it.

Well, based on this thread I think there might be as many people who will vote for Hillary but won't admit it. Heck, to avoid embarassment I have told friends and family I am voting for Trump, but I really am not.

So, if NH or Colorado starts trending to Trump, not both, then the McMullin Miracle is fully alive.

                        266+9-6= 269
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Btw, I believe the no toss up map might already include the Maine electoral vote, no? The map from prior to the first debate showed that if NH fell in Trump's column, then it would be 269 to 269.

edit, no it doesn't include the Maine vote already. Maine 2 plus NH would give Trump 270.

                          • So yesterday's market sell off was partially blamed on Mark Cuban. On CNBC he said something like he was doing major hedging against the market crashing if Trump gets elected. It will be a catastrophe for the stock market if Trump gets elected.

Now, personally I think that is lazy journalism because who really knows why it sold off yesterday?

That being said, anyone who listens to Cuban when it comes to the market needs to do a little research. In 2010 Cuban advised people to get out of the market and into cash. The market has doubled since then.

Could he be right this time? A stopped clock is right twice a day, so yes maybe.

Even while being under investigation by the freakin' FBI, Hillary will still win. Trump has to be an unprecendentedly bad candidate if he can't beat some with Clinton's baggage.

Love the tin foil hat wearing political talking heads. I remember back when they said Brexit was going to ruin GB's economy when the FTSE dropped the day after the Brexit vote. Of course, they don't talk about that now that the FTSE is over 6,800 when it was around 6,300 pre-Brexit.

Maybe we should have a whole separate thread for the last minute fearmongering stuff?
