  • Troy Story: Utah vs. USC Thread

Both teams are coming off a bye. In one case, Utah is absolutely embarrassed by Arizona St, and USC bounces back vs. Cal. If the prediction thread is any indicator, the smart money goes with USC.

Whit has been good coming off of a bye, but Utah has come up small in big games in RES in recent years.

Can the Utes buck the trend vs. USC? Or will they drop under .500 for the first time since I don't know when?

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

This thread will be the concentrate version of the B12 Expansion thread....lots of false hope condensed into a very brief few pages.

I saw it and thought it was funny. I forgot you snapped that pic last year.

I have followed your lead and changed my avatar for game week, as well.

                Fight on, beat the Utes!

Enough of this thread's man on boy Trojan love.

This is not John Robinson’s USC or Pete Carroll’s. This is a team that’s trying to play above board for the first time in awhile. A USC Team that has lost 4 straight to Stanford, a team that struggled against Syracuse on the road. This is a good time to get USC.

Matt Barkley isn’t unbeatable, I think he’s regressed as a Quarterback. Most USC QB’s wait till they get to the NFL to regress, Barkley apparently has started early. He’s barely completed 60% of his passes and has 5 INT’s and 2/3rds of his TD’s this year were against Hawaii and Syracuse. How does a QB with that kind of WR Talent only complete 60%? The headlines on Friday morning will be an unknown Jon Hays outplays Matt Barkley.

                  I’m going all in.

Whitt’s pretty good when he’s had extra time to prepare. I am far enough removed from the Sun Devil beat down to know that Utah can play better.

                  Utah 24 USC 14.

                  Ki-Yi!

Where do people buy and sell at RES? (tickets, not drugs)

You can go to stubhub and get a couple of tix there. I imagine this ticket will be a pretty hot one. that said, after the beatdown by the men of Troy, the Ute Football team will probably compete with the Men's basketball team for the easiest ticket in town.

unfortunately, stubhub is the last place to buy tickets. way overpriced. KSl has a bunch for sale right now and I expect those to continue to drop until Thurs. Day of game, where do people go at RES to buy?
