A lot of us go on Mormon missions, so you come, play for a year then leave for two years, and then you come back and you’re back playing again. So really, recruiting and everything’s different, and the atmosphere is different.

Someone send that quote to the church office building. The exposure is coming from the kid playing well in college and doing something in the NFL. His two year mission is irrelevant.

Let our 3 star and above recruits go on 2-3 month missions. If they make it in the NFL or are quoted on ESPN, they can refer to two year missions.
