Urban Meyer wouldn't have had a second thought on that move.
Even on the first day, you can get an idea on personnel, their raw potential, how they handle themselves, etc. Every year coaches add wrinkles, sometimes very small ones, that cumulatively amount to an edge. JJ played D1 for an opponent 8 months ago that Utah will be playing again in 2010.
I used to see so many things in practice that if I were a mole I could pass along to upcoming opponents, and there is plenty of crazy stuff that happens that would be blown completely out of proportion if the public knew.
Practice security is a no brainer. I would have been more concerned if KW had ignored it and let it slide.Comment
