  • Word is that Utah has offered....

Dylan Collie, Austins little brother. He will be a junior this year.

I gotta ask, what's the point? That's a waste of time to even offer him if you ask me. If he does not come to BYU, he will be going to a top school( if he gets those kind of offers)

It's all a matter of point of view and how you like your chances. Just ask any guy who has married over his head, like me. You never know if you don't ask!

I think you're right, assuming that his options are BYU, Utah and other PAC 10 schools. No point in going to Utah if you have the option of other PAC 10 schools closer to home.

You'd think Utah's only chance would be if no California or Oregon PAC 10 schools offered.

Who else does he have offers from right now? I thought that I saw that he doesn't have the size that Austin has. What is his height and weight right now?

Utah's only chance would be if BYU did not offer, and if he did not get any other BCS offers.

What are you guys going to do when Utah occasionally lands a serious, active LDS blue chipper who also had an offer to BYU? It will happen, you know.

I think that is a pretty good thing Utah did for the kid. He can now tell other schools and friends he has a PAC10 offer.

I'm looking forward to the wailing and gnashing of teeth when it happens. Having it be a Collie would be icing on the cake.

I believe BYU has offered, not 100% sure on that. I don't know what if any other offers he has right now.

I heard he was in the 5'10'-5'11' range, so not as tall as Austin but he will only be a junior so he has time to grow. I think he is faster then Austin, and I saw a Collie family member say they thought Dylan would be the best athlete out of all of them, but who knows if that is actually true.

No kidding. Getting a pac 10 offer like that will up his stars for when he gets a byu offer

It's a waste of time to offer? Why? How long does that really take? 5 minutes? A piece of paper?

Make sure you keep the CB site on you browser. I dont' think there will be a lot of gnashing of teeth on this site from Cougar fans. I think we are pretty realistic.

                          Counter-zing!

                          This is some great smack.

They won't. At least not the out-of-staters, and that's what we're talking about. If they are blue-chippers they will have better options than Utah in other conferences.

So, if Utah and Washington State offer, he goes to Washington State? What about Oregon State?

                              How about Baylor?

IMO, he's BYU's. This deal was done years ago when he sat watching his older brothers play for BYU.

He will grow. He will get taller. He'd probably enjoy playing with Jake Heaps when Heaps is a junior and senior.

Utah has no chance with this kid, but what does it hurt to offer?

Utah will someday get a blue-chip LDS kid that has an offer from BYU, but it won't be this kid.
