  • SHIT!!!!!

That pretty much sums up my feelings on the Pac-12, Big 12(10) right now. Unless the Big 12(10) changes their stated intent and adds two teams, one of which is BYU.

Congrats, Utes. May you rot in hell.

2010 marks the end of BYU athletics. Reversal of what I thought was Honor Code loosening up with the Unga and Loyd cases. We get left with the losers while Utah moves on to the BCS. LDS/Utah recruiting base and fase base starts to erode. This is the beginning of the end. Go ahead and dance on our graves, Utes.

Is it too late to go 1-AA?

Actually, I disagree. Your constituency is the Mormon nation. Always has been and always will be unless you all change. Mormon nation won't desert BYU. In fact, I could see a hunkering down and devout LDS boys feeling more obligated to go to BYU. This could help BYU's recruiting among LDS kids, which is all that really mattered anyway.

My support of BYU will be diminished if this indeed does happen. I wish I could say it would be different, but this rivalry, or what will be left of it, will become insufferable for BYU fans. Call me fair weather or what you will, but if BYU is willing to let this happen then I am willing to completely temper my enthusiasm for BYU. Just being honest.

Has it been confirmed that Utah is in the PAC 10? Or are you folks just practicing these responses in case it happens?

Wow. I'm a buyer of everyone's selling of BYU here.

Let Utah go. It's better for them.

I believe we will be invited to the Big 12 along with TCU (I guess Arkansas is an option).

Step 1: Keep the league together (Big 12)
Step 2: Invite two teams so that championship game can occur (NCAA rules are 12 teams for a champ game).

Stay cool. Ice cool. (anyone who can tell me which very famous play that happens to have incidental music from where this quote originates is a true genius).

I can't imagine it not happening at this point.

Heartfelt congrats to the Utes. You are true champions and deserve to go to the Pac10. It's great news for the state of Utah.

Utah was not in the PAC 10 and, my guess, is you weren't a football player.
