Is anybody else rooting for Tulsa tonight? I know I am. I think Boise St. is overrated and I would love to see Tulsa pull this one out at home. I haven't seen much of Tulsa yet this year, though, so I'm not sure if they have a chance or not.

I'm pulling for Tulsa as well. If BSU loses that should give BYU a bcs bid this year if they can win out. I don't think Tulsa will pull it out though. I think BSU is a legit top 10-15, 5th might be a little high but who knows?Originally posted by I.J. Reilly View PostIs anybody else rooting for Tulsa tonight? I know I am. Oh man, I hate BSU. I would pay some good money for BSU to lose tonight. One of my BILs is a BSU fan and the other is a Utah fan. If I had to hear from both of them that they had been to 2 BCS bowls and BYU hasn't even sniffed one yet....I might have to kill myself.

It would give any of the MWC teams a BCS bid if they win out.Originally posted by SCcoug View PostI'm pulling for Tulsa as well. Every MWC fan should be cheering for Tulsa. A Boise loss opens the door wide for TCU, Utah or BYU.

Boise losing is a big deal for us and the conference. If they lose, a one loss TCU would beat them for a BCS bid, and a one loss BYU might.Originally posted by I.J. My wife uses the term "voting" as in are you voting for them to win. Is that more appropriate?Originally posted by Portland Ute View PostThe term "rooting" is off-putting to me."They're good. They've always been good" - David Shaw.
Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

If they lost and a one loss BYU didn't beat them out, I would be mighty upset, unless Oklahoma just blew the rest of their season and Oregon won the NC.Originally posted by jay santos View PostBoise losing is a big deal for us and the conference. I say might because Boise's ranked so high right now, I don't know if they fall below BYU with a loss this week. I didn't include Utah, because I doubt they fall below Utah.Originally posted by I.J. This game is working into a track meet."The first thing I learned upon becoming a head coach after fifteen years as an assistant was the enormous difference between making a suggestion and making a decision."
"They talk about the economy this year. Hey, my hairline is in recession, my waistline is in inflation. Altogether, I'm in a depression."

They went for it.
