    Bold Prediction

BYU, Utah and Boise all lose this week.

The mid-majors go back to being just that, mid majors.

    That's not so bold.

I think Boise takes Fresno. As a BYU fan I'm concerned about FSU and wouldn't be surprised to see BYU lose at home. The ute game is hard to predict. Oregon has looked so crappy, but in Eugene they should be tough.

I have a hard time seeing Fresno St. beating BSU.

          BSU's defense is really good.

The other 2 games are quite possible.

            I BELIEVE!!!!

I thought you were going to predict that UW upsets SC.....UW stinks, it is supposed to rain, Corp will get his first start, Mays is still injured, and SC just beat a ranked team....all the makings for the annual SC meltdown.

Sark was very complimentary of your QB earlier this week. Said that he couldn't imagine Palmer, Lienart, Sanchez or Booty performing at that level at that point in their careers and thinks he will be the best of that group. Pretty high praise.

Sark is a pretty polished, impressive guy. I hope he succeeds up there, though it probably won't happen this week.

Yesterday the pundits were discussing which of the top 5 most likely to lose and they all picked USC. It has the makings of an upset.

Fresno State gave Wisconsin all they could handle the other week and should have won.

                My bold prediction:

BSU wins. Utah wins. BYU wins. USC kills Washington spawning a QB controversy.

The only one I picked to lose was Utah. And I gave it very few confidence points. I think BYU wins at home. BSU wins against FSU, probably (second least confident because it is at FSU). USC doesn't kill Washington but beats them.

That's not a prediction. That is a, "this could possibly happen." I see where you really made a prediction you have BYU winning by 7.

My bold prediction is that after this week, Utah will have the leading passer, rusher and receiver in the MWC (if Asiata plays).

But really, I just hope they win.

When does Ga Tech get to be included as a mid-major along with the rest of us? Can we also have all of the Big East and the majority of the ACC included as "mid-majors", at least for the rest of this year?

What is up with Kyle's new policy of injury reports? Do you as a fan agree with it? It just seems out of left field from Kyle to suddenly go silent on the subject. It almost makes me believe that he's not convinced that he simply has a "plug-and-play" unit waiting in the wings. I could be wrong.

I don't really know...I mean, it works for Bill Bellicheck. I think you just try to get your opponent to prepare for as much as you can. Even in looking at the SJSU game, they were relatively prepared for Asiata, which seemed to allow Wide III and Shakerin to have some success.

I think Whit is unhappy with some of the coverage his team gets...specifically from Lya the beat writer. That is pure spec on my part, but she frequently takes small nuggets from the press conference and blows them up, so I don't blame him.

Mostly, I think KW doesn't know what kind of team he has to date and that is causing him a little heart burn going into the biggest non-conference game of the year.
