            Also, I don't really understand a complaint on this one. Very few were even close. Almost eveyrbody was guessing a MOV in the 15-25 range ... they won by 51.

            If people want the byu score distance and the opponent score distance split out into separate components or larger ranges before components get truncated to zero either is fine with me (which clearly would have helped you in this case and assume is your complaint) . I don't care about the formula ... maybe we aught not let someone who thinks prediction contest are sorts on noise define the formula.

              Okay, I adjusted the formula a bit so we don't end up with so many ties in the case of blowouts. Things changed a bit but not much towards the top of the leader board.

                  The way the formula works is that at certain point I say your prediction really wasn't that good and I will just reward you for picking the outright winner. Honestly, that region probably kicked in a little too soon ... I adjusted the formula so that region doesn't kick in so easily. It doesn't affect the top part of the predictors since they were never in that region .
