It looks like ND has come to terms with and come clean about instances of historic racism on campus. That's always nice to see when that happens. I noticed that Germany yesterday pardoned all "traitors" against Germany during 1937-1945. Sometimes it takes a long time. I wonder how long this kind of thing last happened before 1978?

Although Notre Dame recently fired its black head coach but did NOT fire the white head coach that had a worse record than the black one.

I taught the priesthood ban in 1978. I was 20 years old. I had to leave the LDS Church to redeem myself, to purge the shame. Unlike the LDS Church I am honest and unvarnished about my history. In that sense at least I am a better man than Thomas S. Monson.
