  • Bottom Line:

Those were the BYU Cougars I've been waiting to see for 25 years.

I feel that way about the whole state. I believe BYU has only played the Longhorns once in Texas, and won. And yesterday's win reminded me of 1979 when BYU played a Top Ten A&M team and surprised everyone by beating the Aggies by one-point at the end of the game. BYU went on to an undefeated regular season, losing the bowl game on a fluke to a team coached by Mel Brooks.

How many times are we going to hear a recap by Mel this year? The better BYU is the more often he retells the story.

I saw that BYU is 2-0 against both Oklahoma and Texas.

            Aren't we 3-0 against those teams (2-0 + 1-0 = 3-0)?
            Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

So we're 4-0 against them. Sweet.

my understanding was that you were 2-0 against each, for 4-0 total.
