According to a report here, BSU was replaying the Blount punch on a loop on the video board immediately after it happened. That was a nice touch, and probably didn't help rile up the fans at all.

A crowd shot at the end of the game showed a BSU fan taunting an entire section of Oregon fans. I realize that happens at every game, but the tension on the field could have given the fans a reason to go as well. It's a really good thing this didn't escalate further.Comment

Not to mention the bear spray. Anytime you have anxious fans in a game with BCS bowl implications with some alcohol in the mix you can have a volatile situation.
