Our TE recruiting pipeline has been on point. Kind of crazy that a guy who is 5'3'' tall is reeling in these kids.

DL is the glaring weakness. We e developed some great db talent. Gilford deserves a ton of credit for that, IMO.

Part of it is that we haven’t had a great coach with the DL in forever. During the BM era, DL were mostly gap fillers and the backers did the heavy lifting (obviously not true in all circumstances), and I’m not sure Tuiaki’s scheme tested DL any differently.

with new coaches, I’m hoping we can develop a difference maker or two in the next. Oui je if seasons and build some momentum at that position.

Yeah, it's frustrating to watch. It's in the trenches that games are won and lost. We did an awesome job against Utah last game.

Why is BYU so good at recruiting linebackers, but not so much at the other positions on defense? We've done better at DB in recent years, but DL not so much. I'm hoping Dallin Johnson pans out.
