I agree with this. There is no way around it. SC was in the driver's seat and lost control.

The interesting thing that is not getting much pub right now...not the loss to OSU.

How badly is the WIN over UW hurting SC now? They blank UW and drop over 50 points on them....and then DROP 2 BCS slots. That drop was a killer.

How far has UW fallen when a blow out win over the Huskies only hurts the winner?

Somewhere, Don James is trying to figure out what happened.

Crazy. The Pac-10 has become a liability.

We dropped two spots when we beat Nebraska by forty. Strange era in CFB.

Unfortunately, the BCS computers are not considering UW's stellar academics when determining USC's strength of schedule.

I think the BCS should consider things like law school rankings, research grants, and liberal arts offerings because, after all, the football players are STUDENT-athletes.

I got this great post on SI from a guy who says the BCS should consider the historical accolades of the program when computing SOS. So you'd get extra credit for playing UW because they won the title in 92 (or whenever). I thought that was an, um, creative proposal.

OTOH, just imagine how people would be scrambling all over each other to schedule Notre Dame.

Hmm....now who's laughing at BYU's attempt to schedule Army?

                  Pipe down, haters!

And the graduation rates of the BCS schools prove it.

Exactly. I can't wait to schedule Harvard and Yale.
