      You are correct that all fanbases have dumbasses among them, but it appears that not all fanbases have such a high percentage of dumbasses that the situation warrants a reprimand and fine from their conference.

      Your argument "all fanbases have dumbasses" would be more viable if all schools collected conference reprimands and fines at the same rate. The fact that not all schools get conference reprimands and fines at the same rate indicates that some fanbases are more dumbass than others.

              D1 schools with public reprimands and fines from their conference in 2022 due to dumbassery amongst their fans: 1 0.276%
              D1 schools without public reprimands and fines from their conference in 2022 due to dumbassery amonst their fans: 361 99.7%
