I am freely expressing my disdain for what I perceive as a dictator on both accounts for not taking a reasonable approach to allow a local public school retain their decade-long logo and to implement a a fee to retain the logo which would retain their rights and be the better Capitalistic Company who see this as a charity-project. Really looking forward to the Texas-LSU game tomorrow night. My son was begging me to take him, but nosebleed seats were going for $800 and the hotels were all booked. LSU fans travel well. We are going to road trip to Austin for the KSU game in November instead.

LSU favored by 6.5 pts. Tom Herman is 8-2 against the spread as an underdog since being hired as the Texas coach. I am optimistic.

Now that it’s your turn, Billy, did you use your big moment in The Athletic sun to seek guidance about your job or your spouse or your football team? No, you did not. You asked about proper etiquette for antagonizing the Texas fan base.

You’re doing this all wrong. You’re focused on making other people mad instead of improving your own situation. There is no actual joy in being annoying — there’s a sick moment of glee, maybe, but that comes and goes quickly.

Why are you handing Texas such power over you, anyway? If you happen to beat Texas, enjoy your win, not the Texas loss. Throwing a Horns Down is like chanting “overrated” at the end of a big upset victory. You’re skipping your own celebration to dump cold water on people you don’t even know. That’s a serious waste of your time.

There must be things you like about your own team, Billy. Is your QB an NFL prospect? How’s the recruiting class? Are your helmets cool? Focus your energy on that stuff, not using your fingers to antagonize strangers.

I get it, Texas can be annoying sometimes. It’s got that awkwardly large panhandle. It has towns named Plano and Waco and Yonder Creek (you’re only 50-percent sure I made that last one up). And I know Matthew McConaughey’s unavoidable car ads are Texas’ fault somehow.

But let Texas do Texas. Be Pro-Billy for a change.
