I was pretty upset when the world cup qualifier in Salt Lake was announced because I knew I would be going to Dallas. One of my favorite sporting events I have attended was the World Cup qualifier match at Rice-Eccles back in '05

      That was an absolute blast.

I know several on here don't enjoy soccer, but I also went to the WC Qualifier and the year after went to RES when Real Madrid played RSL in a friendly and the Beckham hoopla was off the charts. I've only been able to make one RSL game this year, and have always really enjoyed the atmosphere.

I'll be stoked for the WC Next year and will likely get little sleep as I'll be up through the night watching whenever the U.S. plays.
