The Gameday guys this morning said the front runner for the Pac 12 title is . . . Utah. They said it like it was some
kind of punchline and then all erupted in laughter at the thought. Sometimes they try to disguise their biases. Other times, not so much.

    • I like Utah losing, but it's a bummer about Huntley. Broken collar bone. Wonder if Tuttle regrets his decision.

      • I've been checking the ESPN Gamecast of the Utah-ASU game which shows that ASU, up 38-20 with just over four minutes left, has a 99.9% chance of winning. Rather than exult in the misfortunes of others, I thought instead of the Miracle Bowl where BYU overcame a larger margin with less time to do so. I wonder what the probability was of that comeback.

You have to admit the refs were hysterical. In a keystone cops kind of way.

                            • I woke up today with a weird feeling both my teams would score big upsets. I guess the feeling was really they would both find ways to throw away their shot at big upsets and end up with only moral victories.

                              • Alabama’s Jerry Jeudy is electric. He’s just 1 of 8-9 guys in this offense that will play at the next level. Damn they’re good. And right on cue, they fumble.
