So I hear that Wisconsin might be pretty good.

I watched their game against Utah State. The Aggies held up pretty tough for most of the first half. But when Wisconsin finally broke through, it was a deluge. The Badger QB was pretty good. His receivers did him no favors early in that game - dropping many catchable balls.

                I'd forgotten about this:

All-Americans Marc Wilson, Robbie Bosco and Luke Staley will have their jerseys retired during a special halftime ceremony. Individual banners with each player’s name and No. 6 will be unveiled and permanently displayed on the press box at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
                This is an interesting tidbit:

HOSTING THE BIG TEN. BYU hosted Penn State in Provo in 1992, however, the Nittany Lions were competing as an independent at the time. This will be the first time an official member of the Big Ten comes to LaVell Edwards Stadium.

Interesting. It was just wilson and Staley at first. Somebody must have felt bad and put in a word for Robbie.

I didn't realize there was already a thread. I almost created a game thread from one of my favorite Badger quotes from Breaking Bad.

Pouring rain right now. Maybe like the alleged spongy turf in New Orleans that slows the Badgers down.

Also Beau is going to start tomorrow, expect lots of read option. We are going to try and pound the ball with Ula, and I think Beau gets 10-15 carries. BYU is going to try and make this ugly and if we have any chance it will be low scoring slugfest.

                        We have a no-profanity-in-thread-titles-please policy.

I think the offense will pick up a bit not necessarily because of Beau but because we are solidifying the RB and WR spots. I hope Micah and Akile get some time tomorrow.

I see a few parallels between this game and Utah State 2006: a quarterback that had been shaky out with an ankle injury, giving the backup a chance to do relatively well and giving a few fans a reason to chime that maybe he should be the starter. Also, the team in white got blown out of the water that game, which also seems to be a likely prospect.

I have not seen Akile play, but at the Houston Fanfest,he looked like an NFL receiver in stature.
