Tevita Mounga has to pass one class to play this year, which he finds out about tomorrow, or he is redshirting.
Lorenzo Fauatea out until at least game 3-4.
Also the Two deep was released. We are going real small on defense this year. Hadley taking over for Butch, Chaz Ah You is now Fred Warners backup. I hope the D-line can fill gaps and these small guys can shed blockers, or we are in some trouble. BYU should have some really good team speed this year.

As most know, I'm a Hadley homer. With that said, I'm worried about his size. He is listed at 6' 205. If that is true, I'm happy to report that I am now 6'6". The kid has great football instincts, and I suspect will be in the right place 90% of the time, it will be interesting to see if he is physical enough to make the play once he arrives.

Tuiaki said, "He's gonna leave, but we don't know where he's gonna go," but he also said, "Nothing is final" a few minutes earlier.
Tuiaki retracted that today. "I messed up..."

Fiutak picks BYU over Wisconsin in one of his (potentially) stupid college football predictions for 2017.
5. BYU will beat Wisconsin
Strange things happen in Provo.
And on the football field, too.
The Badgers had a brutally unfair schedule last season, starting out against LSU, having to go to Michigan State – which looked brutal at the time – to go along with road games at Michigan, Iowa and Northwestern, and with home dates against Ohio State, Nebraska and Minnesota.
This year, there’s no Ohio State, Michigan State or Penn State from the East, and the Michigan game is in Camp Randall.
Utah State and Florida Atlantic shouldn’t be a problem, and while going to Nebraska won’t be easy the rest of the road slate against Illinois, Indiana and Minnesota is as reasonable as it gets for a team that might be even better after playing in the 2016 Big Ten Championship.
It’s a schedule that a really, really good team should take and go 11-1 with, or even 12-0.
But there’s a trip to BYU that could screw it all up.
The Cougars have one of the nation’s nastiest linebacking corps, a great defense overall, and a veteran QB in Tanner Mangum who should hold up well under the Badger defensive pressure.
Wisconsin will go 11-1 with the puck on its stick in the Big Ten Championship to go to the College Football Playoff with a win. But BYU will be the blemish.
Hurricane Harvey could force LSU-BYU game to move from Houston
Hurricane Harvey’s landfall in Southeast Texas has led to catastrophic flooding in the Houston area.
For the third time in three years, LSU is dealing with a weather situation wreaking havoc on a game it was scheduled to play away from its Baton Rouge campus. The Tigers are scheduled to open against BYU in the AdvoCare Texas Kickoff in Houston on Saturday, Sept. 2.
Officials from both schools will meet with ESPN on Sunday to discuss moving the game away from Houston’s NRG Stadium. Two potential relocation sites are LSU’s Tiger Stadium or New Orleans’ Mercedes-Benz Superdome. A source told SB Nation both schools are committed to playing the game Saturday in a different city. BYU does not allow its athletic teams to play on Sundays, per university policy in accordance with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Like LSU doesn't already have a home field advantage.
