It is a frustrating downgrade over the last decade of guys we've had. No idea why Helfrich kept going for 2, awful decisions. Especially the last one, it is like he doesn't even understand basic strategy. The potential FG could've been for the win instead of tie. Great game by Nebraska, Oregon needs to get out of their own way. This could be a long season.Originally posted by San Juan Sun View PostI really like Oregon's QB. Fun to watch.Get confident, stupid

Yeah, I don't think that was the play they wanted.Originally posted by Moliere View PostQB run on 4th and 18

Kick the extra points, and they still win. I like the gutsy calls, but at some point you need to take the easy points when your plays aren't working."...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."

I was expecting overtime or at least a FG attempt. That last holding call against Oregon was somewhat phantom. Oregon had a great day on the ground: 300+ yards and 5 rushing TDs. During the Husker glory days, those running stats were signature Nebraska. A well played game except for the penalties. Oregon is a fun team to watch.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostCongrat PBW and Omaha, your guys played a good game. Ducks had no answer for the running game and Armstrong played well. Your D made the plays when needed.
IMO, the key was Nebraska had the "good" Tommy Armstrong today. Only one really bad decision and he made the key play on the last Husker TD.Last edited by Paperback Writer; 09-17-2016, 04:52 PM.“Not the victory but the action. Not the goal but the game. In the deed the glory.”
