I think Tristan will be pretty good to great. To be honest though the best skill position player at Calabasas this year is Darnay Holmes. They also have a couple of very good underclassman receivers.

Interesting. What about teammate Tristan Gebbia? Do you think he will be a bust at QB and end up at TE as well?

Mike Riley is 63; Nebraska is probably his last coaching stop. Nebraska had already descended in mediocrity; the Huskers were aiming for sanity as Omaha 680 noted.

We just wanted a non-crazy person to start with.

This is the second wide receiver to choose Oregon State, Mike Riley’s old school, over Nebraska. 4-star receiver Isaiah Hodgins chose the Beavers over Nebraska back in December.
    Hey, Nebraska:

One of the few good things to come out of Nebraska is the Fake Bo Pelini twitter account. If you don't follow it, you should. Very funny.

Just for that, I'm going to forego my lengthy discussion on why 1994 Nebraska (13-0) should be on that list. A true loss for CS.

Lebowksi has a quick trigger for all things Nebraska. Remember we got scolded for forecasting Kalani Sitake's second year (2017) at BYU and comparing to Mike Riley's second year (2016) at Nebraska despite the common theme that both teams would be in their second year under a new HC and new OC and transitioning to a pro-style passing offense while starting a running/dual-threat QB.

I find discussions like this very interesting and I can't say I have a lot of issues with fivethirtyeight's list or the fact that this year's Alabama team may end up with the top spot.

Where will a 2-loss Ohio St team be ranked?

We need to have a lengthy discussion on how 1994 Nebraska (13-0) didn't make that list.
