So has he been fired from every job he's taken?

Did BYU fire him? I don't remember. In fact, my old memory tells me that he knew he'd never be the head coach at BYU so he left, of his own free will and choice, right before Lavell retired.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. He was passed over to succeed Lavell. I wouldn't say he was fired, but I wonder if the writing was on the wall.

According to my source inside the ASB, this is correct.

I wonder if he will go back to Utah? I assume they will be looking for a new OC after this season?

I once sent Norm Chow an e-mail, and, unlike Val Hale and Tom Holmoe, he never replied. So screw him.

Why was Norm Chow so unsuccessful at Hawaii?

What is the worst thing about the Hawaii job? The travel, the low attendance, all the top kids seem to want to leave the island. June Jones seemed to have figured how to win there.

Because he went there to retire, not to coach.

It can't be easy to win there. June Jones got them to win and then left as soon as he had another offer.
