I agree that it is kinda dorky of Whitt to do this, but I think every program picks and chooses where to play fast and loose with the rules, specifically based on what the punishment is or in this case is not.

This is not really too different from many teams with money using intermediaries to tamper with or poach from other teams' rosters. It is an end-run around the rules with no real consequences. Someday maybe CFB will evolve to a more sustainable form in both of these regards.

Haha. Yeah, this is the same response the ute fans are giving on X. "Yeah, but BYU tampers... Waaaa! "

Would be hilarous if that is how Whitt responds if the other B12 schools and/or B12 leadership call him out.

Oh, I am sure most programs are tampering to various extremes. Without teeth, there is only upside to bending rules where possible.

I think Wally's got the right approach. Until ALL rules are universally enforced, no laws should be enforced.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Not at all the rules. I want the first rules enforced to be the ones that disproportionately benefit the Utes.

The creative manner in which Utah fans have concocted moral victories to cope with the 3-game losing streak to BYU is something to behold.

Imagine having a football program so objectionable that YouTubeTV decides to drop all abc/espn/disney content rather than show gameday on your campus.

ESPN goes to Utah for Gameday and YTTV decides to pull the network from its platforms. Good to see large Corporations still have morals

Would you like me to explain the laws of hypothetical victories again? This is just one more datapoint indicating the hypothetical Utah victory in the holy war. Again, you guys own the ACTUAL victory, but we clearly own the hypothetical one. I don't make the rules, bud.

Awwww, c'mon with this coincidence smack. I mean, you guys are undefeated and still using Utah as a measuring stick? Here I will help build up your confidence with a bold, positive prediction about BYU:

Someday soon, Gameday or Big Noon will actually come to BYU when Utah isn't there as the main attraction. I think you guys are on the right path for that.

I mean, it wasn't overnight that Utah attracted BNK twice and Gameday once in the same season.

You mean like last season against Arizona?
