There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

That's funny.

Gotta give props to U of U lineman Nick Ford. Dude arranged for donations and cooked 150 Sunday dinners for foster families. Then went home to write an essay and take an online test before graduating with his second BS degree this week. Initially he was going to cook the meals in his apartment
(serious).
Ultimately a local restaurant in Draper (Cultivate) donated their kitchen for him to use.
I don't mind smacking on Utes - guess I have to give them props for the good stuff.

Haha.
I hate gimmick uniforms. My son loves them."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

I kinda like them. At least its a gimmick with an actual tie to Salt Lake (though not the University) instead of some generic wounded warrior uniform.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Yeah, I am in agreement. the color scheme screams Army, not Utah-mismatched red.Originally posted by old_gregg View Postthey’re ok if you’re the usna. they are lame if you are a state school in the inter mountain west. that video is also horrendous. was expecting some jazzy powerpoint transitions.
And what are the ties to Utah? That a warship was named after SLC? Seems like a stretch.

I don't like Utah. The uniforms don't look anything like Utah so I guess I like them...

What player wouldn't love dressing up like a WWII boat!? As a dear friend of mine told me, "If there is one thing the youth of today have above anything else it’s a deep and sincere appreciation of WWII history."Originally posted by MartyFunkhouser View Post
The players love them and that is all that really matters on this one, not various old men yelling at clouds.
