    In this, we can agree.

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

      IPA's are 6-7%

      Double IPAs are 8-10%

        That is still insignificant.

You have the carbonation of beer, the high calories, and the low alcohol content.

Good wine has between 12 to 14%. Most liquors start with 40% and can work up to 75%. Yes I know Everclear has 95%, the point at which alcohol turns to vapor. So to get a buzz, you have to piss a lot if you drink beer. It is a simple factor BAC and how your liver processes it.

        • We are taking the thread off track but I digress. As one who consumes beer, wine, and spirits, (I enjoy them all!) I am certainly aware how each effect the body and mind, but thank you for the "education". If one is not a heavy drinker, a beer or two (of the 6-10% variety) is plenty to experience a nice little buzz and it isn't overly filling. You are correct that beer is more filling than wine and spirits; however, I would argue that by being more filling there is a built-in natural deterrent to over-drinking, which is much easier to accomplish with wine and spirits.

This is really a stupid argument we are having. A choice of beverage is about preference, which includes everything from taste, food pairings, price and social situation, etc. Blanket statements such as yours don't really apply. Sorry

              • Texas looks like another dumpster fire against Notre Dame.

Down 14-0 with a minute left in the 1st.

                  • Derrick Henry is interesting. I've never liked him a ton, but for a guy who goes about 6'3" 250, once he gets going can really fly.

I watched Murray the past three seasons in high school. Although he's making some poor throws now, he'll be a good passer at A&M (IMO). It's fun the watch some of the local kids play. Two seasons ago, Tejan Koroma was snapping to Murray.
