That essentially leaves Texas A&M without a QB. All that's needed now is for Taysom Hill to fill the void and transfer to Texas A&M to continue the storyline.

I am going to rename this smiley to "pbw:

If Kyler Murray transfers, there's still a good chance he could end up in Austin with OC Sterlin Gilbert and HC Charlie Strong. Before signing day last February, all it took was for Murray to wear a Longhorn T-shirt to start the rumor he was going to switch his verbal commitment from A&M to UT.

Going from the frying pan into the fire? Texas has a new OC (from Tulsa), maybe he's the solution to the Longhorn's offense woes; it seems UT wasn't successful with a couple of ex-Nebraska OCs this season. But I don't see either QB rushing to play for Charlie Strong who's on the hot seat and might not outlive either QB at Texas. Both QBs will have plenty of destination options. I wonder if Kyler Murray may opt for a baseball career instead of football. He doesn't have the body to play QB in the NFL and was considered by many to be a 1st round MLB pick before withdrawing his name from the draft. I found it curious that after being given the car keys to the Aggies QB position, he still intended to play baseball this Spring for the Aggies when it would be in the best interests of the football team for him to be participating in Spring Ball.
