My SiL used to ride a scooter..."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

I don't get ESPNU, so I stayed off the internet and watched the BYUTV rebroadcast after the game ended. I like the Dave McCann (sp?) and Blaine Fowler crew more than what we usually get from ESPN. One of them said something to the effect of "I'm still watching for all the speed Blackmon is supposed to have." Lol.
I thought the team did some good things. It reminded me of a lot of conference games from years gone by. Praetor (sp?) and Nacua seem to be a couple of bright spots for the future. I can't believe UNLV's coach was wearing just that windbreaker thing with no coat, hat, etc. Brrr."What are you prepared to do?" - Jimmy Malone

That is exactly the motivation. Park right next to the stadium.Originally posted by Solon View PostI am a pro-scooter advocate. We have a 125cc that gets about 75-80 mpg.
Provo seems like a perfect scooter town. Easy to find a good parking spot for the game. You just need some gloves & an Easy Rider leather jacket.
The right there was tough, but bearable. The right home was downright excruciating.
We have really enjoyed it. I used to ride motocross (I have a trophy to prove it, dammit!), so it took me a while to warm up to the idea, but it has been fun.Originally posted by Non Sequitur View PostI have a friend with scooters, and we occasionally tool around Utah County with them. Once you get past the emasculation part of it, they're kinda fun."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

Because it's a mountain bike, obviously.Originally posted by All-American View PostWhy not just go around it?Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.
