I didn't start this petition. I will not sign this petition because I don't care whether or not teams play BYU because of its sponsoring institutions hateful policies. I doubt anything will come of this petition. However, I also sincerely doubt that there won't be more and increasingly effective push back on the BYU football team because of its sponsoring institution.

So that's that.

If somebody told me 9 wins at the beginning of the season, I'm not sure I wouldn't have taken it.

If someone told me 9 wins minus Taysom and J-Swagg at the beginning of the season, I'm not sure I would have believed it.

If someone told me Bronco would quit and we would play-- and lose-- to Utah AGAIN . . . well, heck, I still can't believe it.

An entertaining season, all in all. Big highs (dramatic wins over Nebraska and Boise State), big lows (losing Taysom, shut out at Michigan, losing to Utah), big surprises good and bad (Tanner Mangum and Bronco at UVA). It's a solid if not spectacular cap to the Bronco Mendenhall era, ending all too fittingly with another congratulatory handshake to Kyle Whittingham.
