Enjoy, Heaps. Throwing four years to our defensive ends and linebackers.

      He'll be a four-year starter? That'd be awesome!

So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

I haven't kept up on this. Is he planning a mission? If so, can we have Dave Rose talk to him?

IIRC, he's not planning on a mission.

Congrats on the possible signing of a kid who has never taken a snap at the college level.

They all haven't at some point, right? Even Alex Smith.

BYU means no mission. BYU is the mission. That's the logic. Go to an agnostic university and help to bring down the Lord's school, and you have to go on a real mission, suckah.

I don't think the Broncmeister has a choice. If he doesn't start four years there will be hell to pay with the Heaps, and probably the BYU fan base if BYU doesn't go 13-0.

I know - I'm just having a bit of fun, as Smith was never a highly touted recruit, at least not that I'm aware of.

I think star rankings are the most misleading variable when it comes to recruits. Stars are just the opinion of some alleged experts and it's just a comparison other high school kids.

If the kids turns out to be a good one, I'll give him credit.
