This argument is silly. It happens in polls all the time. Every year some team drops in a poll during their bye week. They literally didn't do anything to indicate they weren't the same ranked team the week before. Your argument dismisses what others accomplish. Sure TCU won and did exactly what everyone thought they would do. But tOSU did something nobody expected. While TCU didn't do anything make anyone think they're not just as good as they were last week, tOSU did something today that makes everyone think that they are far better than what we thought of them last week.

I understand this. I don't completely disagree with it. However if you believe that the committee really thought that TCU was third what happened today to change that? Yes OSU was impressive today. Yes they look deserving today. What did TCU do today to move them from 3rd to 5th after what they did? Were they less impressive than FSU today? According to your criteria history has less weight and FSU's incredible streak is not as meaningful...

I said that it benefits BYU, not doesn't push B12 to expansion. I think the B12 ship has sailed on BYU, I hope I'm wrong.

Sure, the Big 12 will expand eventually. I agree with HFN and Flystripper that this fact means nothing for BYU. They aren't taking us, and I feel like BYU fans should realize this by now.

I am sorry. I don't mean to frustrate you. All I am trying to do is get in the committee's head and try and predict what they will do. I actually think OSU and FSU along with Oregon and Bama are most deserving. I just doubt the committee agrees since they incorrectly had TCU at third.
