  • BYU's 2016 recruiting - the class of the 45th presidency

Thought about putting this in the 2015 thread, but why.

Sean McGrew is coming to BYU's junior day and has said that he wants that BYU offer - offers already from ASU, UCLA, Wazzu, Colorado and Washington. I haven't figured out yet if is LDS. I have figured out that he isn't slow and that he is also not tall.

One article indicated he called UCLA his dream offer.

I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

At about the 1:30 mark he takes one knee so I'd say no.

I stopped watching after the first two plays. On both plays, his offensive line opened up a hole big enough to fit both HFN's GX460 and his Escalade. I can't remember the last time BYU's line opened up a hole that big.

I watched the first two minutes and I still did not see him get touched once.

I'm pretty sure David Archuleta could rush for 1000+ yards behind that line.

That is a nice video to show to track coaches. Doesn't say much at all about his FB talents though.

Not completely true. He showed some nice shiftiness and nice bursts of speed. His line, unquestionably, opened huge holes, but he had something to do with those long runs by making nice cuts and having the speed to pull away.

I think you just agreed with JL; he wisely did not claim it showed absolutely nothing about the kid's FB talent.

He said it didn't show much....I think it showed more than not much.....it showed he has more than just track speed...he has next man speed and the ability to make very nice cuts.

Dude is just a sophomore and already has offers from half the PAC 12. He must be doing something to impress coaches besides just running through holes blasted by Damian Mama.

But he would probably then claim that he'd rushed for 2000+. Typical.

What's the younger brother's status as a recruit? What year is he?
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Graduates in 2016, word is he is a Fred-caliber recruit who will get plenty of attention but obviously it's early.
