I really didn't get it. What I meant was, "Hey don't bother explaining it to me as it was directed to someone else and I was just butting in. Carry on."

    Sheesh.

It kind of reminds me of the guy who chastized a well off guy for complaining so much about the taxes he pays. However, he finds every kind of loop hole possible to not pay taxes.

Edit: Nevermind. I know you are smart enough to know what I meant. You are just trying to extend the conversation in hopes of trapping me. I am untrappable and I don't want to talk about it anymore.

Cheer up, BITF. There's nothing worse than having to explain a joke to a bunch of dim bulbs that can't appreciate your brilliance.

I still find myself talking to the sellers just to see whats going on.

I also went to the UVa game with tickets in hand and I have Wisconsin tickets already, as well.
Don't feel bad I never go to games without tickets in hand. It's nice to know you are sitting in chairs, under a cover if applicable.

              • I would be too much of a nervous wreck going to a game without tickets. However, I have never felt the high of scoring sweet tickets at the fraction of the cost. I think that I could be converted.

I'm the same way. We went to a Seahawks/Vikings game a few years back and decided to wait. I was so freaked out that I went to Stubhub the day before the game and overpaid.

I wouldn't do it because it is illegal on the BYU campus. I imagine except for the city streets, the area around LES is considered campus?

If we expect the players to follow a honor code, the least we can do is follow the laws of our state and country.

If I don't expect them to follow the HC, is it alright for me to scalp?

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

I've never been to a game and bought tickets off the street where I paid face value except at Cameron Indoor and even those I got for face value. Surprising I think hockey tickets are the hardest to buy cheap.

You may and feel free to mention what a great deal you get often as you wish. Doesn't bother me if you don't think the tickets are worth face value. Next year I don't either.

I also grew up in Ammon. (It sounds like I was a little before your time though). I went to Ammon Jr. High, home of the mighty Ammon Atoms (I guess it would be called a middle school now). Then I attended Bonneville Jr. High. I was part of the first class to go a three years in the new high school. Bonneville was weird, in junior high we were on split sessions. Because I played football, I was put on the afternoon/evening schedule so we could practice before school so it wasn't dark and had to turn on the outdoor lights. And then how could you build a high school with no lunch room? I guess one was built a year or two after I graduated.

the west side of canyon road is city, except for the parking lot itself.

It is rarely illegal to resell tickets at all. Most munis have ordinances in place that simply place restrictions on the way in which you sell them, most often limited by physical distance from the venue. It is not illegal to resell tickets in Provo so nobody is breaking the law merely by the act of scalping them.

If you meet a guy in the morning that doesn't get your joke, you met an idiot. If you tell your joke to everyone you meet that day and nobody gets it, you're the idiot.
