Alabama is #1 until proven otherwise, they have more than earned that. Even as a far from impartial fan, if given a vote I wouldn't vote Oregon over Bama.Originally posted by CardiacCoug View PostSo all the games are blowouts. Oregon finally looking like Oregon. I would vote them #1 after this.
Oregon/FSU is a good debate if things play out. I've watched enough football to know that probably not all 3 that belong in the conversation will end up undefeated. So who is #2 doesn't really matter right now, Oregon great, FSU great. It matters in a 6-7 weeks.Get confident, stupid

Kansas approach is to admit just about everyone and weed them out. I know this because my BIL washed out of KU. I'd like to see how their freshman retention rates compare to other schools.Originally posted by UVACoug View PostNot that good. They are sub-100 in USNews rankings and admit 93% of applicants."It's devastating, because we lost to a team that's not even in the Pac-12. To lose to Utah State is horrible." - John White IV

Yep... Winning football gamesOriginally posted by Joe Public View PostUrban being Urban
I do have to say this is the first game our defense played well. Looks like they finally are allowing the DB's to play man and it worked out well compared to the crappy zone they have been playing. Hoping for more games like this..

Friendly fire, CC. KU is a fine school in many ways and has some strong graduate programs. But I would take your average BYU undergrad over your average KU undergrad any day of the week. No comparison.Originally posted by CardiacCoug View PostNot much difference between a BYU degree and KU degree in my opinion.Nothing lasts, but nothing is lost.

Never met one. I'd stay away.Originally posted by YOhio View PostI'll reserve judgment on Kansas until I hear Moliere's thoughts on their accounting grads."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf
