Going back to the big game earlier in the day, Johnny Football would still get my vote for Heisman.

I mean 562 yards of total offense against that very good Bama defense, are you kidding me?

Obviously we've gotta see how the rest of the season plays out, but hell he put up 200 more yards passing and a couple more yards rushing than he did against Bama last season so I wouldn't say this hurts him that much.

Jameis Winston is the other guy who will be right up there -- so damn accurate -- he might complete 80% of his passes this season.

The conventional wisdom is that he won't be an NFL type player. But considering what he does against SEC defenses, can't you see him succeed with a team like the Eagles?

I would like to see Mariota get some major Heisman consideration -- funny how Chip Kelly and the Oregon "system" actually hurts him because people give all the credit to the coaching and schemes. But it obviously doesn't work without great players.
