The PAC is supposedly a good conference but when a team as shitty as Utah can beat the best or the second best and undefeated, team in the conference, sorry folks, but that doesn't speak well of the conference.

Yes, a very nice fat cap. I smoked for about 90 minutes at 225 and the cranked it up to 450 for about 15 minutes. I didn't have any Spade L, and neither did Smith's last night, so I went with Plowboys bovine rub. Pretty good.

BYU fans should be more gracious in allowing the Utes their day in the sun. They have never beaten a team as highly ranked at home. This is a cool accomplishment, as BYU fans have already known for decades. BYU beat the #1 team in the country, but if you take the excitement you felt when BYU beat the sitting national champions, divide that excitement by 5, then focus on that one-fifth of happiness and excitement, you can imagine how proud the Utes must feel today. In fact, to fully appreciate the magnitude of this moment, we need look no further than Dres, who admitted that last night's win was, in essence, winning the national championship for a school like Utah. Who are all of you to deny them this moment?

If the Utes ever beat (or even play) the #1 team in the country, or beat a Top 3 team on the road, I will be as happy for them then as I am today. Shame on the rest of you.

Miami finished 1990 at #3, behind colorado and Georgia tech (who split the championship that year).

And BYU had played the week before, so it wasn't just the preseason poll.

will be interesting to see how high Stanford finishes. Probably wont finish as high as #3, and they clearly arent the reigning national champions, nor were they ranked #1 coming into the game, but it is still a very scrappy accomplishment. As Dres Anderson explained, this weekend is about as good as it will ever get for Utah. We should all be magnanimous in showing good sportsmanship over this crowning achievement.

worked like a charm. not sure why I did it the other way. Smoke setting for around 50 minutes or so, crank to 250 until it hit 135-137 (approx 25 mins?).

Well according to Portland Ute on twitter, Utah, UCLA, Washington and Stanford are all evenly matched. Beating an evenly matched team must be a huge deal for Utah and Dres.
