Didn't Condi Rice say at one point that her dream job would be commissioner of the NFL?

I'm not sure what she knows or doesn't know - but she isn't a dumb woman. I wouldn't call her incapable without a little more information as to qualifications.

Ive seen that football promo ad running right now that features C-Rice explaining that she is a football fanatic. Apparently when she was in Israel she woke up at some crazy hour in the morning in order to watch the Superbowl. I believe that ad may have secured her spot on the selection committee.

Has Mike Leach ever skipped out on a football game in order to fly to Israel for meetings? If not, then he isn't qualified to be Secretary of State.

Why not? We've had senators and presidents who were TV actors and football players.

So - while I'd like to take your word for it, I'm not convinced that you know enough about what Rice knows about football to judge how qualified she may or may not be.

I never said she was qualified. I just said I haven't seen evidence that she isn't.

Plus - she has that great TV ad that DDD linked going for her.

Riley Nelson never threw 9 INTs in 6 quarters against PAC12 teams.

He also never beat Utah. So there's that.

It does seem like only the PAC-12 teams have been able to pick him off. After Travis has finished his senior season let's see how his stats compare to Riley Nelson's.
