2013 BYU Football Seating Changes

The tickets you had last year were reserved for you this year. You had the choice to keep what you had last year, or upgrade to something better this year (if available).

What Cougar Club told me was that everything but Stadium Donors and Legacy were going to be wiped clean. And then it was going to go from CC donation priority.

Now that didn't happen.

If my CC donation level is higher than yours, according to the CC office, I should have been able to select your seats if I wanted. But I couldn't with the way that this system is setup.

I am okay with what I was able to pick, but I should have had more opportunities than I did.

I don't get why that's the case. They basically say as much in the terms and conditions that you agree to, and frankly I'm ok with someone with higher priority getting the seats they want.

I agree with that, as that was what I was told as well. I think overall the system is nicer, but they should have wiped it clean, except for stadium donors.

Your missing it. There are folks that have lower CC donation levels than mine, that will have better seats than I do. And the only reason is because they had them last season.

You build the CC by requiring folks to be donors. CC has <5000 people in it. I didn't even go to BYU and I am a donor.

Season tickets should require CC status.

I agree, and I think you should get to go first over those with lower priority. If that's how it's been done, then that seems wrong. A complete reset outside of the stadium donor folks would seem appropriate.

I love BYU football. This will be my 7th years with Season tickets. I only go to 2 games a season at most, but it is my favorite hobby.

I save up a week of vacation just for the Home Opener. It is what gives me hope each year, and how I keep going.

I need good seats for my Aunt Sue for this upcoming season. She needs 2 good seats and is willing to pay your price, plus her portion of your Cougar Club fees. In other words, her fair share.

Please let me know asap. This would be perfect for someone whose parents are on a mission, as Aunt Sue wants to buy 2 seats for this year only.

Are you sure that's the case? As I understand it, the only people that got to "hold" their seats were the stadium donors and the very cheap-seat endzone season ticket holders who didn't have any level to move down to.

My tickets were held, and I had a level to move down.
