  • Cody Hoffman

I think the man deserves his own, new thread. His junior highlights were just posted and it is amazing the number of tough catches he made. He was an absolute beast.

And he told Bronco he is going to make his kids go to BYU.

I can't remember the exact stat but his number of 3rd down catches resulting in first downs was very impressive.

I posted this on Moliere's FB page (he posted that vid today) but I think Hoffman has a legit shot at being a quality possession WR in the NFL. The potential comparisons that come to mind for me are McCaffrey and Keyshawn Johnson.

Hopefully he doesn't believe in multiplying and replenishing the earth like Marty Haws.

Marty Haws only had 3 kids. But two of the boys really like what's goin' on up on the Hill!

Nice video. I think Cody is underrated by a lot of fans. Think of what his stats could have been with a good qb.

His stats may arguably have been worse with a better QB. Maybe not, but being Nelson's security blanket has its statistical benefits.

True. However, I know of at least one catch and TD that he would have added to his stats if a decent qb had tossed the ball to him (ND game).

Crazy to think the kid had an offer from BYU and Sac St.

I nominated him today for Andy Staples 2013 all 2 Star Team.

I think it's time to unearth my posts about Cody Hoffman vs. Delante Christopher heading into the 2011 season. TopUte almost had me believing that Christopher was the second coming of Calvin Johnson.

Turns out, production really does matter. Christopher probably won't make a practice squad.

And his catches wouldn't have been nearly as spectacular.
