So...before I could possibly respond to this poll I need further interpretation of "by his own choice".
Like - if he is called to be a mission president or as an apostle or something - is that considered to be Bronco leaving by his own choice? Or is that really God's choice for the purposes of this poll?

Contrary to popular opinion, neither God nor the church removes the ability to choose for yourself.Originally posted by Eddie View PostSo...before I could possibly respond to this poll I need further interpretation of "by his own choice".

Well...I think that Jonah would beg to differ with how free someone is to choose something for themselves once God has told them to go preach the good word.Originally posted by Indy Coug View PostContrary to popular opinion, neither God nor the church removes the ability to choose for yourself.
Similarly - I would argue that someone's wife telling them it is time to move to a new local and/or change jobs does not necessarily mean that they have chosen to make that move themselves.
But I get what you're saying and appreciate the interpretation.

Jonah may have been given time to reconsider, but ultimately he still chose to do what God asked him.Originally posted by Eddie View PostWell...I think that Jonah would beg to differ with how free someone is to choose something for themselves once God has told them to go preach the good word.

I was actually thinking about this while running last night. I would not be surprised to see him at Army. I have no idea how long their coach has been there, but he would fit in very nicely and could do well (by modern Army standards).Originally posted by LA Ute View PostI predict one of the service academies will be his next stop.

I was serious. He's shown what he can do in an environment where the players must live up to unusually high expectations.Originally posted by BigPiney View PostI was actually thinking about this while running last night.
